WOODCOCK, LLOYD CLAYTON (November 20, 1938 - August 4, 2014) and WOODCOCK, ARTHUR BERTON (March 5, 1933 - August 6, 2014) - It is with deep sorrow the Woodcock family announces the passing of brothers Lloyd Clayton Woodcock and Arthur Berton Woodcock. Lloyd’s sudden and unexpected passing occurred in Williams Lake, BC on Monday, August 4th, 2014, while on a fishing trip. Survived by his loving wife, Rosita; his beloved children: Patricia Woodcock, Margorie Woodcock Huynh, Traci Woodcock, Jenny Palmer, Marjorie Vukelic, Raymond Adams, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family members. Art passed away peacefully at home in Vernon, BC on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 with his loving family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Jean; one daughter Donna (Peter) Luscz; four sons: Don (Marilyn), Mervin (Marjorie), Larry and Terry, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and extended family members. Art was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Williams. Art and Lloyd were the sons of the late Berton and Tressa Woodcock and are survived by their brother Harlan, sisters Sadie (Ross) MacLean, Gertie (Glen) Somerville, Charlotte (William) Somerville, Tressa (Brian) Gilmore, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Art and Lloyd were predeceased by their parents as well as brothers Horace, Jerry and John; and sisters Margaret Green and Phyllis Turnbull.
A joint Celebration of their Lives was held at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home in Vernon, BC on Friday, August 8th, 2014 with Pastor Ed Kriger officiating. Condolences may be offered at www.pleasantvalleyfh.com
