Christianson, Eileen Grace
born October 14, 1930, passed away peacefully following a brief illness at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on Saturday August 9, 2014 at the age of 83. Survived by her brothers Howard (Phyllis) Moyer and Keith (Elsie) Moyer, and by her brother-in-law Gordon Davy and sister-in-law Myra Moyer. Fondly remembered by Florence and Robert Soderberg, their 7 children, spouses and families, many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Gretta Moyer, first husband Sidney (Sid) Solley, stepson Donald Solley, second husband Rudolf (Rudy) Christianson, sisters Dorothy Winger, Lois Beck, Ella Davy, brother Lawrence Moyer, and brothers-in-law Leslie (Les) Winger and Rev. Lawrence (Larry) Beck.
Eileen's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday August 12, 2014 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service at Kitchener Gospel Temple, 9 Conway Drive, on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 2 pm (visitation from 1-1:45 pm) with Rev. John Stewart officiating. Reception to follow. Interment Rosebank Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Gideons or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
