The death occurred peacefully at Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Sunday, August 10, 2014 of Lawrence Joseph Arsenault of Carleton Lot 6, aged 92 years, beloved husband of Elga Blanche (nee Adams). Born in Coleman on September 18, 1921 he was the son of the late Andrew and Agnes Arsenault. Dear father to Andrea (Jerry) Howard, Cape Wolfe; Arlene (Barry) Morrison, Alberton; Laurie (Terry) Gavin, Alberton; Larry (Pat Boates-Jones), West Devon and Michelle (David) Carver, Mermaid. Loving grandfather to Melanie, Cory, Jeremy, Andre, Amanda, Cherissa, Tara, Dakota, Shaylynn and ten great grandchildren. Lawrence is also survived by brothers and sisters in law: Florence (Osborne) Phillips, O'Leary; Sterling (Phyllis) Adams, Donnie (Sharon) Adams, all of Red Deer, AB; Isabel (Eddie) MacEachern, Carolyn Millar, all of Summerside; Ellis Adams, Red Deer, AB.; Nancy (Milton) Estabrooks, St. Albert, AB.; Dorothy Russell, Kamloops, BC; Valerie Tennant, Judy (Rick) Darmos and Sharon (Geza) Nemeth, all of Ontario; Wendy (Terry) Baker, Surrey, BC. and Cheryl (Ron) Demchuck, Red Deer, AB. Predeceased by his parents, sisters and brothers: Arthur, Edward, Freddie, Beatrice, Gussie, Elmer and Bernice, mother and father in law Amos and Nellie Adams and brother in law Lloyd Adams. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Tuesday from 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock at 4:00pm. Interment will follow in the Parish cemetery. In memory of Lawrence, memorials to St. Anthony's Parish Cemetery or Maplewood Manor, Alberton would be appreciated.
