Peacefully, with her loving family at her side, at the Palliative Care Unit, on Sunday, August 10, 2014, of Bev Leach (nee McQuaid) of Charlottetown, age 76 years.
Beloved wife of the late Charles Leach and loving mother of Michele Waltermire (Ethan). The following are Bev’s siblings - Frankie McQuaid, Anne Barratt, Billy McQuaid (deceased), George McQuaid (deceased), Carl McQuaid, Elizabeth Hennen, Elaine Pierce, Barbara Cudmore, Sheila McKinnon, Jim McQuaid, Alexius McQuaid (Lecky), Darlene Forest, Jennifer McQuaid (deceased), Joe McQuaid and Eddy McQuaid.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alexius and Elizabeth McQuaid, and her stepmother, Lyla McQuaid.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, August 13, 5-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 14, at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer at 10 a.m. Interment will take place later.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
We would like to extend special appreciation and thanks to the Provincial Palliative Care Unit. They watched closely over Bev and lovingly cared for her, and made her last days peaceful and comfortable.
