ELENOR CLARK (KNUTSON)
Elenor was born December 8, 1926 in Elbow, SK and passed away on August 9, 2014 at Pioneers Lodge. Mum, Gramma Ellie, Miss Ellie, is predeceased by her parents Kasper and Gerta; sister Esther; brothers Elmer, Bjarne, Gay, Lloyd and Edward; father-in-law Job Clark; mother-in-law Frances (Nanny) Clark; husband Keith Clark; son Jeff Clark, and longtime partner Ken Fode. Ellie is survived by brother Arthur; sisters Margaret and Helen; son Curtis (Brenda); daughters Joanne (Rod) and Wendy (Tanis); grandchildren Stacy (Mike), Jordan (Bree), Joshua, Terann (Jered), David and Danielle; great-grandchildren Tyson, Keegan, Mason and Abbey; special niece Cheryl; special friend Tara; extended family Clayton (Denise) and their sons Reece and Vance; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She attended Elbow School and graduated from Grade 12 at Moose Jaw Tech. Ellie travelled to Vancouver and returned to Moose Jaw where she worked the front desk and switchboard at the Park Hotel and also spent some time at Moose Jaw Printing. Ellie married Keith in 1951 and they raised 4 children. She was a longtime member of Central Lutheran Church and choir. She was a stay at home Mom then in 1970 started working at the Army & Navy with a short stint at the House of Oak as hostess. Ellie met Ken Fode in 1993 and they had 21 great years together, passing three days apart. A Celebration of Ellie’s life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Friday August 15, 2014 at 1:00PM. Rev. David Moore will officiate. Memorialization will follow at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Moose Jaw Transition House, Box 1866, Moose Jaw, S6H 7N6.
