Elizabeth Stewart, age 95, of Westville, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Elizabeth was a daughter of the late Rupert and Jessie Fraser (MacPherson) MacNeil.

She was a member of the Crystal Fountain Rebecca Lodge #18, Murray Temple Pythian Sisters, and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Westville.

Elizabeth is survived by daughters Marion Mahoney (Ray), Pictou; Audrey Fennell (Richard), New Glasgow; grandchildren, Stewart Mahoney (Liz), New Glasgow, Philip Mahoney, Westville, Elizabeth Glenwright (Robert) Fredericton, Graham Mahoney, Victoria BC; Leslie Ford (Bill), Stellarton; several great-grandchildren; 3 step-grand-daughters Kelly, Erin, and Ashley Fennell.

She was predeceased by husband Harry B. Stewart in 1959.

There will be no visitation or funeral by request. A family grave side service will be held. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, the V.O.N. or the S.P.C.A. Granton. Services are under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
