It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our father, husband and Papa on Aug. 14, 2014 surrounded by family.
He was the son of the late W.D. and Laura (Ratchford) McMullin of Sydney.
He is survived by and will be forever missed by his wife of 60 years, Jeanette (Dunn); sons, Gregory (Marie-Claire), John (Kim), Peter and Bill (Cheryl); daughters, Susan MacDonnell (Robert), Anna McMullin (Doug) and Joan McMullin (Joey), along with his 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Gallant and Olive MacKinnon.
Dad was also predeceased by brothers, John, Vincent, Clare and Sandy and sisters, Marie (Roach) and Sr. Doris McMullin.
Dad was a quiet, humble man who had infinite patience and a gentle nature. He loved music and anything electronic. Sharp to the end, he had mastered the internet in his 80s. We will miss your daily Facebook messages Dad! Funeral mass to be held Monday August 18th at St. Joseph's Church, 40 Cabot St. Sydney at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in foyer.
