Preeper, Robert Gordon – Truro

Preeper, Robert Gordon – Age 50, Truro, passed away August 14, 2014 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Jean (White) Preeper and the late Gordon Preeper.

All who knew him were aware of his sense of humour, his love of fishing and old-time music, as well as his pride in his children and grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Tracey Burgess; son, Matthew; stepdaughters, Samantha and Jessica; four grandchildren; stepfather, Sherman Boutilier; sisters, Donna (Billy), Catherine (Kenny), Martha (Terry), Shelly; brother, James (Tara); stepbrother, Eugene. Besides his father, he was predeceased by stepfather, Beldon Preeper.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul’s United Church, Antrim, Rev. Marilyn MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in Nuttall Hill Cemetery. Family will meet friends for a reception downstairs in the church following the burial. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of NS, or Lung Association of NS.
