Loving husband of the late Betty (nee Murphy). Dear father of Sandra Weatherby (Stephen MacLaren), Jennifer Pitre (Bill, deceased), Renée Ross (Mike) and D.J. Blanchard (Rosalie). Loving grandfather of Alyson, Henry, Russell, Abbigail, Ashley, Lydia and step-grandfather of Lilith Sampson. Son-in-law of Margaret Murphy. Predeceased by his parents, Aubrey and Mary (MacKinnon) Blanchard, and by his father-in-law, Dan Murphy.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Monday, August 25, 2014, then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
