Peacefully, at the Provincial Palliative Care, on Friday, August 15, 2014, of Doug King of Charlottetown, age 68 years.
Beloved son of Grace King and the late Robert King. Doug is also survived by his partner, Doris Dodds; sister, Gracie Williams (Richard); brothers, Tom (Agnes), Robert (Marguerite), Pat (Donna), Christopher (Jackie) and Ken (Laurie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Robert; brothers, David and Perry and sister, Mary King Johnson.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, where family will receive friends and acquaintances on Wednesday, August 20, 4-6 p.m., followed by a service.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the P.E.I. Palliative Care Program would be appreciated.
