LANDRY, ANTOINE “TONY” - Antoine “Tony” Landry, 76, of Moncton, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born July 5, 1938 in Barachois, he was the son of the late Adélard and Madeleine (Boudreau) Landry. Prior to his retirement, Antoine was a sales manager for Pittsburgh Paint, and an avid Nascar and car enthusiast. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Marina (LeBlanc); two children: James “Jimmy” and Yvette LeBlanc (Roger) both of Moncton; a granddaughter, Kelly Landry; four sisters: Elizabeth Bourque (Alcide), Thérèse Reddy (William) and May Weiss (Victor), all of Grande-Digue, and Madeleine Gratzer (Dominik) of Kitchener, ON; two brothers: Donald of Shédiac and Fernand (Barbara) of Innisfil, ON; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Anne-Marie, and one brother, Norbert.
By request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to the funeral service which will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Wednesday, August 20 2014 at 10:30 am. A reception at the Centre will follow. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium, Moncton. In memory of Tony, a contribution to the Moncton SPCA would be appreciated. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
