NICHOLSON, LISE - Lise G. Nicholson of Woodstock, NB passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Born on July 22, 1949 in St. Come - Liniere, Quebec. She was the daughter of Hercules and Cecile Genesse (Rodrigue). Lise was predeceased by her husband Henry Soucy. She is survived by her children, Mark Nicholson, Woodstock, Michelle Christenson (Chris) Mons, Belgium, Randy Nicholson (Candy) Toronto, Ontario Doug Gordon, Fredericton and stepdaughter, Angela Soucy Edson, Alberta. Grandchildren, Kayla, Drew, Mallory, Alyssa, Lindsay, Heather and Austin. Her Brothers, Yves Genesse (Pam) Woodstock and Alain Genesse (Frankie) Woodstock. Nieces Christy Scott and Denise Grant and extended family. Lise worked as a cook in Woodstock prior to moving to Ontario in 1989 where she continued providing customers with delicious food. She returned to Woodstock after the death of Henry in 2009. Lise is best known for her kind spirit. She was a loving, proud mother, grand-mother, sister and friend.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street Woodstock, NB at her request, there will be no public visitation. All are welcome to attend the funeral service held at St Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church in Woodstock on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. At 11 am a reception will follow. In the CWL Hall.
