BRUFATTO, JOAN - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Kathleen Brufatto on August 14, 2014 at the Shannex Parkland in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on December 15, 1934, to Kathleen McNeil Roberts and Roland Roberts. Survived by her husband, Vincent Brufatto, son, Cecil Stephen Brufatto both of Fredericton, daughters: Lynn Kelly and Lori Ramsundar, of California, sister Sheila Bailey, brothers: Roland and William Roberts, three grandchildren: Mitchell, Brittany and Madison Kelly. Besides her parents, Joan is predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Brufatto, sisters: Marie Gardiner Penny and Ruth Gardiner Penny. Joan was a Wife, Mother, a Bank Teller, and Supervisor in her earlier years, then a Pastors wife at Christian View Church in Halifax, NS in the late 80’s and 90’s. Then, a Pastors wife at Hoyt Baptist Church in Hoyt, NB in the late 90’s. She was very involved in the church as a pastors wife. Mom loved going to bible studies with Dad, she loved to read, shop and finding great deals. She loved sitting down and visiting with people. But most of all she loved being with our Dad, being by his side for any adventure he planned.
Funeral service will take place at Sunbury Funeral Home, Blissville NB on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 4 PM with Rev. Blake Perrin officiating.
