MARTIN, ROBERT JOSEPH - It is with great sadness that we say goodbye too soon to Robert “Bob” Joseph Martin, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, surrounded by his wife and children; he was 62 years old. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Debbie; his children, Stacey (Juan) and Shane (Valerie); four grandchildren, Jessica, Zachory, Evan and Grace; three sisters, Betty Anne, Cathy and Donna. Bob was a talented hockey player in the Fredericton area as a young man, but as he grew older his passion became his work. His legacy is not only the family he leaves behind but the beautiful homes he created for so many families in Fredericton. Thank you to Dr. Burnell, Dr. McKim. Dr. Russell Gowan and Dr. Debbie Gowan, and the nurses of DECRH - Palliative Care Unit for their support and care.
