Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Center on Monday, August 18, 2014, Olive Nolan (nee Burry) aged 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Ernest Nolan; parents: George and Violet Burry; brother Dawson Burry; sister and special friend Grace Whitty; as well as special friend William Samson. Left with fond and loving memories her son Ernie; two daughters: Irene and Pauline; grandchildren: Ashley and Brianna; sister Florence; brothers: Clayton and Wayne; special niece and friend Isabel Samson and her family; sister-in-law Isabel Layman (Albert Davis); also a number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends; especially her Sunday night dart buddies and her friends at Branch #1 Royal Canadian Legion. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at St. Clare's Hospital and the Dr. L.A Miller Center. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. Interment to be held at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
