BELLEFLEUR, GEORGIANNE - At the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, August 19, 2014, Mrs. Georgianne Bellefleur of Bathurst and formerly of Saint-Leonard, passed away at the age of 81 years. She was the wife of the late Alyre Bellefleur. Born at Saint-Quentin in 1933, she was a daughter of the late Magloire and Laurence (Lafrance) Dionne. She is survived by six children, Jacques of Saint John, Lise Bourgoin (Richard) of Saint-Leonard, France Cornfield (Terry) of Saint John, Pierre (Cheryl) of Trenton, Ontario, Gilles (Kim) of Saint John and Eric (Sophie) of Bathurst, seven grandchildren, Julie, Elaine, Michael, Ryley, Brandy, Matthew and Alexi, two great-grandchildren, Remi and Marieve, sisters and brothers, Yvette Dionne-Sirois of Montreal, Romeo Dionne (Oliva) of Saint-Quentin, Jeannine Talbot (Guy) of Kedgwick and Yvon Dionne (Noella) of Saint-Quentin, sister-in-law, Marguerite Nadeau of Kedgwick, brother-in-law, Laurent Sirois of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Rita Sirois of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska and a brother, Lorenzo Dionne of Saint-Quentin.
Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, August 23rd at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church, with Father Bertrand Ouellet officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
