Passed peacefully away on August 21, 2014 in the presence of her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, Sharon Marie Beer, age 63 years. Sharon is predeceased by her parents Nellie and Michael; sister Betty Anthony; and brothers Tom, Michael, Kevin and Jack. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 43 years David Patrick. She will be mourned by daughter Dana (Dave Hammond), granddaughter Julie; son Jonathan (Susan), grandchildren Madison and Gavin; son Christopher (David Stokes); brothers: Derm (Shirley), Bren (Patricia), and Gerald; niece Vicky (Gary Crocker); sisters-in-law: Gertie (Mel Organ), Libby (Mac Rideout); as well as many other relatives and friends. Sharon will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her friends from the Newtel Pioneers, Red Hat Club and St. Peter's Parish. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, August 24th and on Monday, August 25th. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at St. Peter's Parish, Ashford Drive, Mount Pearl. Immediately following the Mass a reception will be held at St. Peter's Parish Hall. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
