The death occurred peacefully, at the Souris Hospital, on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, of Russell James Bailey of North Lake, age 70 years.
Loving husband of Barbara (Roche) and proud father of Cindy (Joe Burley) of Munn’s Road, Lori (Stephen Richardson) of Yellowknife, N.W.T., and Crystal Neary (Patrick) of Pleasant Grove. Loving grandfather of Reyes James Richardson. Brother to Inez Bailey of Charlottetown and nephew to cherished Aunt Rose Cheverie. Brother-in-law of Vernon Roche (Clara, deceased), Arletta Kalogeras (Charles, deceased), Lily Lundrigan (Pat), Clarence Roche (Laura), Gladys Gardiner (Alfred) and close nephew Troy. Also missed by numerous nieces and nephews and special pets Jake and Jed.
Predeceased by his parents, James and Edith Bailey, and brother, Edward.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home, Souris, for visitation on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral to be held on Wednesday morning, Aug. 27, 2014, to St. Columba Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
