Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, August 23, 2014 of Mrs. Eileen Smith (nee Lacey) of Blooming Point, age 77 years.
Beloved wife of the late Bertram Smith and dear mother of Larry (Roberta) Smith, Lynda (Barry) Jay, Gary (Jackie) Smith, Leanne (Chris) McBride, Melissa Smith and Mark (Michael) Lisetto-Smith. She is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren; sisters, Marie (Keith) Stahan and Georgina MacLeod; many sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews and her constant companion, Misty.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday morning then transferred to St. Bonaventure Church, Tracadie Cross, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Provincial Integrated Palliative Care Program or the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre, QEH.
