It is with heartfelt sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Kay Weeks peacefully at home on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Archibald and Alice (Duder) Weeks. He was a resident of Toronto for many years and returned home to live with his sister, Barbara, who is the last surviving member of the family.
Surviving are his sister Barbara and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Kay was predeceased by a brother, John and nephew, David.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the VON, Home care and Dr. Sousou for their care.
