Reginald Collins
COLLINS, REGINALD - CHANGE OF LOCATION OF SERVICE TO OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATER IN ALMA - Reginald G. Collins was taken home August 25th, 2014 in Alma while cutting wood with his grandson. He was the son of the late Frank and Marie Collins. The reason for His overflowing Joy was his love for God and his son Jesus Christ which he shared with everyone he talked to. He LOVED God, his wife and his family. He felt blessed to work so closely with all his family. Reg was a lobster fisherman for the past 55 years, along with being a contractor, Entrepreneur, heavy equipment operator, co-founder of sea salt business, former Bombardier dealer, installer of furnaces and appliances. He was the founder of the first lobster shop in Alma and now his family carries on the same tradition at the Alma Lobster Shop. His faith in God is what gave him his youthful strength and health, his abundant life, his kindness and gentle spirit which radiated to all who spent time with him. He loved nature and being in the great outdoors, land or sea. “Your gentle smile and generous heart will live with us forever.” He will be painfully missed by his wife, Marina (Martin) Collins of Alma; son, Martin Collins; daughter, Catherine MacDonald (Rodney); his treasured grandchildren, Joseph (Chelsea) Justin (Brittney), Elizabeth, Mitchell, Daniel and Luke; his sisters, Ethel Butland and Beulah Morrissey; brothers, Richard, Gordon and Ronald.
