MILNER, Beverley Walsh “Bev” - Age 81, of Falmouth, Hants Co. The family are sad to announce that on Saturday, August 30, 2014, Bev passed away at his home in the Windsor Elms Village. Born on December 2, 1932 he was a son of the late Boyd and Margaret (Walsh) Milner. Bev is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Gwen (Parker); daughter, Gayle (John) Bartlett; sons, David (Valerie) and Peter (Corey Casey); his precious granddaughters, whom he loved to tease, Sarah (Ryan) Parker and Holly Bartlett (Steven Nielson) and his adored great-granddaughter, Emily Parker. He is also survived by his son, Pat (Val) Hudgins; daughter, Heather (Steve) Hudgins and their families; sisters, Shirley Haskell; Gail (Jack) Tatterie; brother, Jeff (Pat) Milner; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Gerry. Bev was the kind of man who’s family came first and foremost and he would give you the shirt off his back. He will be missed so much by all. The family would like to say thank you to the Windsor Elms Village, Meadow View 4 where Bev resided for the last two years. The special care and attention was greatly appreciated and noticed by the family. You were all his family too. In keeping with Bev’s wishes, his body has been donated to Dalhousie Medical Research, for further medical research in hopes it may help find a cure one day for this horrible disease (PSP and OPCA). There will be no funeral service at his request. A family memorial service will take place at a later date with burial in Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Falmouth.
