LeBLANC, LAURIE - 1925 - 2014 - Laurie J. LeBlanc, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on September 6, 2014 in his 89th year. Born in St. Anselme on October 4, 1925 he was the son of the late Zoel and Marie LeBlanc. Laurie is survived by his daughter Lorianne, step-children; Ronald Gallant, Norma Gallant, Joan (Len) Leger, and Linda (JP) Leger, sisters; Rosee (Gerry) Poirier, Emilie (George) Gillis and Stella (Raymond) Gaudet. He will also be missed by his grandchildren; Lindsay (Gerard), Nicole (Rudolpho) and Evan and great-grandson Lennon as well as seven step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Laurie was predeceased by the mother of his child Yvonne Gallant, sister Elda Gauvin and brothers; Edgar LeBlanc, Gerard LeBlanc, Valmont LeBlanc, and Raymond LeBlanc.
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A memorial service celebrating Laurie’s life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:00am.
