CAISSIE, ALIDA - 1920 - 2014 - Alida Caissie, 94, of Residence O’Bon Soins, Shediac and formerly of Grande-Digue, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born February 8, 1920 in St. Antoine, she was the daughter of the late Frederic and Marie Eugenie (LeBlanc) Belliveau. She will be sadly missed by her son: Claude (Elizabeth) of Grande-Digue; one brother, Antoine (Viola) of Toronto; two grandsons: Jason and Mathieu, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, René Caissie (1998); three sisters: Rosée LeBlanc, Eva Vautour and Cecile LeBlanc; four brothers: Edouard Belliveau, Ulysse, Aurel and Arcade.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9 am until time of departure (10:10 am). The funeral mass will be celebrated at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in La Visitation parish cemetery in Grande-Digue.
