Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, Anita Grandy of Clarke's Beach, age 63 years. Predeceased by granddaughter: Emma Clarke; parents: Pleman and Stella White; brother: Eric (Shirley) White; parents-in-law: Willis and Ada Grandy; brother-in-law: Bill Grandy. Leaving to mourn, husband: Morley; three daughters: Donna Coombs (Tom Higgins), Spaniards Bay, Juanita Coombs (Wally Saunders), Paradise and Shannon (Jason) Fry, Bay Roberts; one son: Bobby (Sheri) Coombs, Angus, ON; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five brothers: Lloyd (Maxine) White, Bay Roberts, Clarence White and Marston (Karen) White, both of Carbonear, David (Sheila) White, Spaniards Bay and Bob (Lucille) White, Cambridge, ON; two sisters: Violet (Harold, deceased) Badcock, Bay Roberts and Joyce (Jack) Rodgers, Hant's Harbour; two sisters-in-law: Barb (Ernest) Follett and Ruby (Wayne) Downey, both of Grand Bank; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, September 12 at 3:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Bay Roberts.
