Passed in: St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Passed on: May 17th, 2014

The family of Loretta (Sis) White wish to express sincere gratitude to all who helped alleviate our sorrow in the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and to thank the many friends and relatives who took the time to reflect and celebrate her life. To all of you who called, visited, emailed, and shared many stories and memories; sent food, sympathy cards, Mass cards, flowers, made donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, attended the wake and funeral - you all helped make a difficult time much easier to bear. You reached out and gave unselfishly to our family when our hearts were heavy and our days were dark. Words cannot express what this meant to us. Your sympathy and thoughtfulness will always be gratefully remembered and deeply appreciated.
Many thanks to the staff of the ICU units at the Health Science Centre and St. Clare's; all of whom went beyond the call of duty to make Mom's final days so comfortable- Your work truly is a calling.
A special thank you to Monsignor Jim Robertson for his many visits to her over the years as well as to Father Terry Boland, parish priest of Immaculate Conception Church for tremendous support provided to our family over the years and for her beautiful final service. Thank you to Patti Bouzanne and the choir members for your moving music. Many thanks to the staff of Fillatre's Funeral Home especially Amanda and Mindy for your sensitivity, professionalism and kindness.

Although her loss has left a void in our hearts, it helps to know that we were truly blessed to have had her in our lives. To those who knew her, you were truly blessed because God did not just take an angel; he took an amazing, kind, and wonderful person who meant the world to us. She had a heart of gold and everyday we thank God for letting us have her in our lives. Mom, your smile will never fade in our hearts. We miss you so much and will forever love you.
Harold, Harold Jr., Robert, Michael, Joanne Wayne and families
