Aaron Mason

MASON, AARON JOSEPH - It is with heavy and broken hearts that the family of Aaron Joseph Mason announce his passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He passed away on his late mothers’ birthday and she now has her beautiful son with her 20 years after her death. He was born in Saint John, on August 16, 1993, to the late Lisa Mason, whom he lost in 1994 and Malcolm Brown. Aaron is a grandson of Delbert and Anne Mason and Mack and June Brown and a son to his “chosen dad” Harvey Stewart and Brenda Bernier. He was an amazing brother to Eric Mason, Nathan Stewart and Serena Brown. He was a special nephew to his favorite aunt, Lori Mason, his Uncle Joe Mason and a special cousin to Tyler Aitken. Aaron will forever be remembered by his girlfriend Hilary Boudreau and the rest of his extended family and many, many friends who miss him so much already. Aaron loved to hunt and fish and loved being in the woods on his ATV. He was known for his fabulous sense of humour, always a joker. Aaron could always make his family laugh, even through his illness. He was so brave, a fighter with a strong will. He never complained and was always so pleasant, polite and kind to all those who cared for him. Aaron’s greatest accomplishment came this summer when he graduated with his high school diploma. He was so proud and so was his family for his determination to complete the task, in spite of his struggle with health.
