It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mavis Roxanne Ruth announce her passing on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 44 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Brian; daughter Megan Payne (Adam Vincent); step-daughter: Kelly (Rob) McCoy; step-sons: Steve Ruth (Simone) and Bradley Ruth (Ashley Murphy); grandsons: Kyler Vincent, Riley McCoy and Brandon Ruth; parents Stedman and Lillian Payne; brothers: Bruce (Sherry) and Darrell (Angie); step-brother Desmond (Heather) Churchill; parents-in-law Bill and Beulah Ruth; sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda Wells, Paulette (David) Bellows, Glen (Alfreda) Ruth, Trudy Ruth, Bill Ruth, David (Darlene) Ruth, Cathy Ruth (Allan Pynn) and Judy (Jim) Vincent; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Curling with Rev. Rosemarie Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Shriners.
