Ken Decker passed away peacefully following a short battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. Ken was born June 13, 1950 in Meadow Lake to Margaret “Peggy” and Louis Decker. He grew up and completed his schooling in Meadow Lake. Ken met and married Lorraine in 1970. They moved to Saskatoon, then Prince Albert where they resided until Ken’s passing. Ken was employed by Woodland Enterprises for 19 years and KLS Supply for 21 years. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and walking his dog Snoppy, but most important to Ken was his family and friends. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 44 years Lorraine (nee Regnier); his children Kyle of Edmonton, AB; Trevor (Aileen) and children Jada, William, Zavier, Declan of Lloydminster, AB; Allison Morrison ( Jason Feldman) and children Wyatt and Tristan of Marysville, Washington; his brother John (Carol-ann) of Meadow Lake, SK; his brothers and sisters-in-law Yvette Regnier of Winnipeg, MB, Lionel (Florence) Regnier of Lloydminster, SK, Henri (Leona) Regnier of Pierceland, SK, Judy (Ben) Barker of Meadow Lake, SK, Lorette (Rod) Coates of Prince Albert, SK, Leo (Maryann) Regnier of 100 Mile House, BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret, his father Louis, mother- in-law Noemia, father- in-law Henri and brothers- in-law Clem, Octave and Marcel. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church 260-25th St. East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Val Bodnaryk officiating. Memorial donations in Ken’s memory may be directed to the Victoria Hospital Foundation – Chemo Therapy Department 1200-24th St. West Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4.
