MASTON, ANNE MARGARET - The passing of Anne M. Maston of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on September 11, 2014, at the age of 77. Born in Ludlow, NB, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Marjorie (Price) Munn. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Eldon; their children, Tom (Julie), Janet, Jeff (Hope) and Linda (Charles McEvoy). Grandchildren Caitlin Maston; Emma, Hannah and Arran McEvoy; Amanda, Melanie, Tylor, Faith and Tommy Thibodeau; brothers and sisters Lorna Munn (Melvin), Gladys Munn, Abel (Vivian), Geraldine Everett (Winston) , Allen (Evelyn), Edna Munn (Cecil), Eloise Watson (Doug), Connie Howe (Kevin), Don (Nicki), E. Robert and Irma Munn ; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved beagle, Miss Kay. Anne had a special calling as a homemaker, mother, and grandmother and good neighbour. Her gentle, caring nature and infectious laughter will be missed by her much loved family. Generations of babies were calmed and rocked to sleep during Anne’s 30 years in the Brunswick Street Baptist Church nursery.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 2:30 PM from Brunswick Street Baptist Church, 161 York Street, Fredericton, with Rev. Greg Geldart officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunny Bank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Brunswick Street Baptist Church, would be appreciated by the family.
