Passed away at her daughter’s residence in Creston South, NL, on Tuesday, Sept. 09, 2014, GLADYS CARTER MARSDEN, formerly of Francois, NL, in her 84th year. Leaving to mourn her loving children Martin (Maisie), Pasadena, Lloyd (Norma),Yarmouth, NS, Clara Durnford (Calvin), Creston South, Una Marsden (Harry), St. John’s; 7 Grandchildren, David, Maisie, Dean, Dwayne, Shelley, Robert, Lloyd Jr., 11 Great Grandchildren, Darcie, Jenika, Andrew, Matthew, Maisie, Dallas, Shannon, Kaitlyn, Kathleen, Deana, Brenna; great great granddaughter Jillian; sister Helen LaFosse, North Sydney, NS and sister in law Beatrice Durnford, Burgeo; and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Stewart, parents John and Susanna Priddle, daughter Maisie, brothers Matthew, Reuben, Nelson, and twin sister Charlotte.

Rev. Gloria Wendover & Rev. Robert Peddle conducted the Funeral Service at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Creston South, on Saturday, September 13th, 2014; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Creston South, NL.

Donations in Gladys’ memory may be made to the St. Michael’s Anglican Cemetery Fund or the St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Cemetery Fund, Francois, NL.

Pallbearers were David Durnford, Jenika Durnford, Darcie Durnford, Dwayne Symes, Matthew Greene, Andrew Greene, and Colin Greene.
