We the family of the late Ruth Adair, North Sydney, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to our families near and far, neighbors and friends, for all their support and love. To Dr. John Kirkpatrick for his excellent care and support during Mom’s sickness over the years, Northside General Hospital staff from 2006 on 2nd, 4th, 5th, 4 west and finally Taigh Solas, January 2007, which was her home until her passing on September 8, 2014. The excellent care received was greatly appreciated. Thank you to Rev. John Hannem for his beautiful service and words of comfort; organist Peg Hendry; granddaughter Heather Tillmar, Parksville, BC, for her words “Big Love”, recollections of her grandma and read by her mom Ruth Tillmar and also the beautiful poem by Patsy Finny. Thank you to Peter Walsh and staff at W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, your assistance and professionalism is second to none; the pallbearers Ken Lomond, Rollie Guy, Joe Hillier, Bob Maxwell, Ernest Hillier and Mel Birmingham; Ladies Guild of Calvary Baptist Church for the lovely lunch supplied and served; all who phoned, delivered food to the house, donations, cards, floral and fruit arrangements. Words cannot express how much your love, support and assistance comforted us in our time of grief.
