Clorice Boucher

BOUCHER, CLORICE - Clorice Boucher, 86, of Saint-Antoine, formerly of Irishtown, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on April 14, 1928 in Saint-Philippe, he was the son of the late Alphée and Marie (Gallant) Boucher. Retired in 1988, Clorice worked at Arrow Metals for 33 years. He spent countless hours in his woodworking shop at home where he would create many unique treasures out of a plain piece of wood. He is survived by his three sons: Roger (Dawn) of Saint-Grégoire, Rhéal (Cathy) of Irishtown and Donny (Micheline) of Saint-Philippe; his three step-daughters: Debbie Caissie (Bernard), Donna Christie (Greg) and Darlene Brooks, all of Moncton; his step-son, Wayne Brooks (Betty); his special friend, Yvonne Bourque and her daughters: Lucille and Gisèle, both of Ontario; one sister, Laura Cormier of Moncton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Léona née LeBlanc (1972); his common-law-wife, Noëlla Brooks (2006); one step-son, David Brooks (2005); four sisters: Adèle, Irène, Dora and Florence; six brothers: Adelard, Napoléon, Aurèle, Eloi, Emery and Télex.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in St. Lawrence O’Toole parish cemetery in Irishtown. A reception will follow at the centre. In memory of Clorice, a contribution to CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
