DAVID BURRAGE

Where do you start thanking people that came together to celebrate David Burrage's life. As I walked into the Neils Harbour Community Centre, I had to stop and look around, I didn't see anyone talking on the phone but what I did see was overwhelming. People talking and laughing probably telling one of Dad's jokes or a story he told. Having feel a sense of community, we are forever grateful, and I don't think Dad would have had it any other way. We would like to thank Karen Hatcher for going that extra mile. Also Grant Hatcher, for speaking on my behalf, you did a wonderful job and I am forever thankful. Then there is Scott and Timothy Hatcher, singing "Daddy's Hands", you guys did a great job. No one would have done any better, thank you. A special thank you goes to our Uncle Gerald Boutilier. Not only was he one of the pallbearers, he also did a remarkable job doing Dad's eulogy. When Dad spoke about Uncle Gerald, he'd say Gerald's more like my brother than a brother-in-law, and Dad had the utmost love and respect for him. Thank you to J.M. Jobes Funeral Home Limited. I'd like to thank Manning especially, because he handled everything with alot of love. Thank you Rev. Peter MacDonald for making everyone laugh when you told a joke, it would have made Dad proud. There will never be another David Burrage Sr., and who knows, he might meet a lady with alot of money and a bad cough.

Forever thankful, Ruth, Jessie, Davey and Family
