YOUNG, DEBORAH S. - 1949-2014 - Deborah Susan Young, wife of William (Billy) Young, of LeBreton Drive, Miramichi, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital, on Thursday, September 18, 2014, following a brief illness.
Born in Newcastle, on March 12, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Erma (Nowlan) Touchie. She was a homemaker and a retired employee of the Miramichi Leader/Weekend and attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi. She is survived by her husband, Billy; one daughter, Alicia Foran (Jay), of Wayerton; one son, B.J. Young (Cheris), of Miramichi; five grandchildren, Leeam, Amilya, Wylie, Georgia, Cade; one brother, David Touchie (Sharon), of Truro Heights, N.S. She was predeceased by her parents.
Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Tuesday, from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michaels Basilica on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in the Renous R.C. Cemetery, at a later time. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the 6th Floor Oncology Unit, of the Moncton City Hospital. Or any charity of the donors’ choice, would be appreciated by the family.
