WHITTIER, JEFFERY ROSS - After a year long battle with cancer, Jeffery Ross Whittier passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on September 19, 2014 with his wife/soul mate and best friend Richelle (French) at his side. Born in Saint John, NB on June 4, 1977, he is a son of Ross and Janet (Hatt) Whittier. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn brother, Darren and his wife Olivia, father and mother in-law, Bernard and Pam French, sister-in-law, Tanya (Gary) Chambers, brother-in-law, Tracy (Trina) French, loving grandparents, Arnold and Frances Hatt and Bernice Whittier, special nieces and nephews, Gavin, Renay, Tristin, Regan, Derek, Krystle and Brent and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeffery was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Garvin Whittier. Jeff always worked beside his grandfather at A. Hatt Construction and had just recently taken over the reigns. Jeff loved life, traveling, the outdoors, golfing, fishing and hunting with his great friends Benji, Joe, Coke, Jack, Kory and many more. His love for life and adventures will always be fondly remembered and he will always be loved by his family and friends.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB. Visiting will be held from the Sea View Full Gospel Church, Back Bay, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held from the church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maddox Hanley c/o Scotiabank St. George would be greatly appreciated by the family.
