Passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his residence on Wednesday September 24, 2014, at the age of 32 years. Predeceased by his grandfather, Harold Thorpe of Parksville, BC. Leaving to mourn his wife Peggy (Churchill) and his precious sons Darcy and Daxon, his parents Karen and Murray Laplante of Parksville, BC and Fred and Kim McLenaghan of Miramichi, N.B., parents-in-law Tolson and Margaret Churchill of Portugal Cove, grandmother Elaine Thorpe of Parksville BC. grandparents Tom and Marjorie McLenaghan of Miramichi, NB., and Melvin and Shirley Laplante of Parksville BC, brothers Kassady (Katrina) of Parksville BC, Colton of Parksville BC, sister Rae Anne (Richard) of Parksville BC, aunts and uncles Glen Thorpe (Cathy) of Porthardy B.C., Blair Thorpe (Karen) of Parksville B.C., and David of Parksville B.C., Lenny (Daphne) McLenaghan, Gary (Janet) McLenaghan and Wade (Lilly) McLenaghan all of Miramichi N.B., George Laplante of Parksville B.C., Shelley Laplante of Parksville B.C. Sister-in-law Enid Pendergast ( Brian), sister-in-law Colleen Churchill (Scott Ash), sister-in-law Cindy Green (Todd) all of Portugal Cove. Nieces Nevaeh and Vanessa, nephews Oliver, Morgan and Riley. Special friends James, Mason, Shane, Trevor, Scott and Perry, and a large circle of friends in Parksville B.C. and Brooks Alberta. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Maroon, Dr. Laing, Dr. Hayward, Dr. Hall, Dr. McIsaac and the nursing staff of 5 South B. Visitation will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday September 25, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held from St. Lawrence Anglican Church in Portugal Cove on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
