Russell Carter Robson
1921 - 2014

Russell passed away on September 23, 2014 at the age of 93. He was born on January 22, 1921 in Balcarres, SK to Rosetta and Henry Robson. Russell was predeceased by his wife Cora in 2007; his siblings Lionel, Thelma, Tom and Mary. He is survived by his niece Mary Lou (Alan) Hammond of Regina, SK; nephew Craig (Val) Chappell of Calgary, AB and his niece Barbara Lennox of Burlington, ON. Russell was known to many under different names. He was Russ to his wife and church, Robbie to his co-workers and Uncle Jim to his family. He began his career as a truck driver, later as a bus driver and finished a long career with the Highway Traffic Board retiring at age 65. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 310 - 27th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Richard Mensch officiating. Private family interment will be held at later time at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens with his wife Cora. In lieu of other tributes, memorial contributions can be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
