After a brave struggle with cancer we lost Michael Fitzpatrick on August 24, 2014 in Penticton B.C. Given only a short time to live in 2005, Michael's stubbornness, love for life, walks and bike rides in the beautiful Okanagan kept him fighting for almost a decade. Michael was born in Summerland, but spent over 40 years on the Sunshine Coast with his family and a fulfilling career on the water, before retiring in Penticton B.C. Michael leaves behind his beloved family, friends, and his dog Buster, who never left his side.
A celebration of life for Michael Fitzpatrick will be held on Saturday, October 18 at the Gibsons Royal Canadian Legion 109 from 1pm-3pm, 747 Gibsons Way, Gibsons.
