LAKE, CARL ROLAND JR. - It is with heavy and broken hearts that the family of Carl Lake Jr. announce his unexpected passing on Friday, October 2, 2014. He was born in Saint John, on July 21, 1987, to Carl Lake Sr. (Debbie) and Marjorie Perry (Scott). He is a grandson to his maternal grandmother Frances Cole and the late Kevin Cole and Henry Bridges and his paternal grandparents Roly and Betty Lake and a great-grandson to Jean MacDonald and the late Jean and Clifford Gogeun. “Little” Carl was a loving brother or “bro-bro” to Candace Lake (Jeff); step-brother to Justin, Jordon and Jaycee; uncle to his special niece Gracie; nephew to aunts Sherri, Ruthie (Allie), Tabitha (Mike) Sue (Jeff) and Brenda; uncles Benny and Bruce (Barb) and a good friend to “Mercer”, Mike Robins, Jake Campbell, Mike Day and Jason Cole. “Little” Carl is also survived by his only child Julian Donaldson-Lake and Julian’s mother Dee Dee. He will forever be remembered by the rest of his extended family and many, many friends who loved him so much. He was a graduate of Simonds High School and loved to play sports. He was an all-around athlete, talented in so many ways. He had a passion for Judo and was involved in the sport for most of his life. He really enjoyed travelling and he had an amazing sense of humour, always a joker. “Little” Carl could light up any room simply by being there.
Arrangements under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visiting Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. His funeral service will be held Friday, October 10th, 2014, from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am followed by a reception at the funeral home. Following cremation, burial will take place at a later date.
