BREWER, DARLENE ARDITH - We are sad to announce the passing of Darlene Ardith (Briggs) Brewer on October 7, 2014, surrounded by her family, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Fredericton, NB on July 11, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Gladys and Don Briggs. Darlene loved her two dogs, Billy Joe and Lady Mae. She was a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and loved spending time with her family. Darlene always welcomed everyone with open arms and a beautiful smile. She will be deeply be missed by everyone. The wife of Edward Brewer; and mother of six children, Tony Brewer of Hainesville, NB Sheila Moir (Randy) of Penniac, NB, Karen Brewer (late Steven) of Deerville, NB, Donna Crossman (Bruce) of Richibucto Road, NB, Susan Somerville (Jimmy) of Hainesville, NB, Krista Brewer (Ron) of Ontario; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister, Diane King (Richard) of Lincoln, NB; several nieces and a nephew. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Donnie; granddaughter, Jenna; great-grandson, (Mr) Cameron; and also a very special Aunt Audry.
There will be no funeral by request of the family. A celebration of her life will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm. There will be a private interment at Staples Settlement Cemetery at a later date. In lieu flowers, donations to a charity of your choice are appreciated.
