Andreas: Susan Andreas, 1960-2014. It is with great sorrow the family of Susan Marie Andreas of Lancer, Saskatchewan announce the unexpected passing of their beloved Wife, Mother, and Nana. She is survived by her husband Norman Andreas, children Perry Andreas (Chantal), Derek Andreas (Aleshia), Dawn Andreas (Darrell), David Andreas, Jesse Andreas (Sara), grandchildren Cole, Aubrey, Eva, Axel, Parker, and her mother Arnetta Warnock. She is also survived by her many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Susan was predeceased by her grandparents Josephine and John Klug, her mother and father-in-law Barbara and Clement Andreas, her grandmother Johanna Magee, and her father Gayle Magee. Surrounded by her family, Susan passed away on October 3, 2014 at the Royal University Hospital from complications of a hemorrhagic stroke she experienced the previous day. Susan was a loving, kind, and generous person in life. She continued to give in death, as she was able to donate her organs to save others. Susan was born in Leader, Sk. on July 2nd 1960. She was raised by her grandparents Josephine and John Klug on the farm by Richmound, Sk. She met the love of her life Norman Andreas at the age of 14. They were married on July 28th, 1979. Together they raised their family on the farm by Lancer Sk. Throughout her life she worked as a cook in the surrounding area. For the past 10 years Norman and Susan owned and operated the Lancer Hotel, where she welcomed everyone with a cup of coffee and a bowl of homemade soup. Although Susan enjoyed cooking and gardening, her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, amazing mother, and adoring nana. In celebration of her life a service was held on October 14th, 2014 at the Lancer Community Hall. Donations can be made in memory of her to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
