GUIGNARD, LAURENCE - 1931-2014 - Laurence Guignard, 82, of the Villa Providence and formerly of McLaughlin Road in Moncton, passed away on Thursday October 9, 2014 at her residence. Born on December 22, 1931 in Lamèque, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Camille and Syphronie (Brideau) Guignard. Before her retirement, she was a school teacher for District #13. She is survived by two sisters: Rosaline Guignard (late Fernand Chiasson) of Lamèque, NB, and Sr. R.J.M. Florence of Levi, QC, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Bertha and two brothers: Ludovic and Régis.
By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery in Moncton. In memory of Laurence, a contribution to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
