SAUNDERS, ALICE MARY (DOLLY) - It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary (Dolly) Alice Saunders, of Penniac, NB at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 11 2014. She was 72. Born in Four Falls, Victoria County NB, on November 30th 1941 to the late George and Alice Casey (Horsefall). Beloved wife and Mother she is survived by her husband Darrell Saunders, four children Scott Ellis (Cindy), Patti Spinney (Hudson), Leslie Ellis (Tracy) and Di Jancos, Chris Ellis (Joyce), one brother Gilbert Noel of Moncton, eight grandchildren, Candice, Billy, Harley, Brittney, Dameon, Ashley, Abcde and Mary-Louise, three great-grandchildren, Chantel, Cloey and Zoey. Besides her parents, Mary is predeceased by two sisters, Lorraine and Eva.
At Mom’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. However there will be a celebration of Mary’s life on October 18th, 2014 at 2PM at the Penniac Recreation Center in Penniac NB. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Bishop`s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road.
