After years of battling COPD, Nora, daughter of Artie and Mary, passed peacefully on Oct. 10, 2014, at the age of 80 and is now free to take a deep breath.
Left to share in our memories of her amazing strength are her children David (Colleen), Paula, Allan (AnnMarie), Joe, Ray and Brian. Nora has a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren, Stephanie, Leigh (Echo), Sarah, Michelle, Melissa and Qwade. Nora will be sorely missed by her sisters, Dolly (Billy), Margie (Joe), Eydie (Romeo) and Inez (Jim). She is predeceased by her friend and husband, Eddie, her brother, Donny, and sisters, Velma and Helen.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Souris (Side Chapel), Saturday, October 18, at 10 a.m., with burial to follow in Rollo Bay Cemetery.
