The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, October 16, 2014, of Adrien Joseph Gaudet of Summerside, aged 87 years. Adrien was born in St. Nicholas, to his late parents Emmanuel and Margaret (nee Poirier) Gaudet. Beloved husband of Jean (nee MacDonald) Gaudet and loving father of Katherine (Mark Kanne) Gaudet of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandson Braden and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Adrien was predeceased by his brothers Leonard, Alfred and Bill and his sister Florence. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, Oct. 20, then to in St. Patrick's Church, Grand River, for a funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Adrien's memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday evening only, 6-8 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside.
