It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Ridgley announce his passing on Wednesday October 15th 2014 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 86 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Bridget, his daughter Jenita (John) Alyward in Kippen’s, his two grandchildren; Jonathan and Jennifer, his three great grandchildren; Ryan, Lucas and Morgan. He also leaves with loving memories his three sisters; Margaret (Allan) Langdon in Harbor Breton, Theresa (Owen) Sheppard in Stephenville and Lottie (Tom) Drake in Riverport NS along with many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary Ridgley, his sister Rosalie and her husband Norm Pierce. The family will be receiving friends at Russell’s Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday October 17th 2014. Funeral services will take place on Saturday October 18th 2014 at 10 am from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
