BOURQUE, ROBEA - 1928-2014 - Robea Bourque, 86, of the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris- de-Kent Hospital, in Sainte-Anne- de-Kent, on Thursday October 16, 2014. She was married to the late Laurie Bourque. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and the late Anna (Bourque) Maillet. Prior to her retirement, Robea worked as an assistant in a nursing home. She will be sadly missed by her children; Jeannine Furlong (John) of North Anson,Maine, Monique Massaro (Bob) of MT Ephrem, New Jersey, Jackie Semler (Bobby) of Leominster, Mass, Laurie (Simonne) of Cocagne and Denis (Alice) of Felton, Pennsylvania, her 10 grandchildren, her 17 great-grandchildren, and her two great great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn, her sister, Marie Bernard (Vincent) of Fredericton, her brother, Roger Maillet (Eveline) of Grande-Digue and many nieces and nephews. Robea was predeceased by a son, Paul-Emile, sisters; Léona, Sarah, and infant Léona, brothers; Ola, and infant Albéo.
Visitations will be held in the Saint-Pierre RC Church Slumber Room, in Cocagne on Monday October 20th, 2014 from 1 to 4:15pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Pierre Church, on Monday at 4:30pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Robea’s memory a donation can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche.
