WILSON, GRACE BELLE - The passing of Grace Belle Wilson, wife of the late Laurence Wilson, occurred on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Carlisle, NB on May 28, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Swim) Fowler. Grace retired in 1982 after spending 30 years teaching in the Burtts Corner area and always made an effort to stay connected to her roots. She was a bible study leader and a faithful member of the Burtts Corner Church of Christ. “I want my family to remember me for the wonderful lives we shared with each other. Laurence was one of the best and our son and his wife and family have been a real blessing”. Grace is survived by her son, Laurence Wilson (Sherry) of Mactaquac, NB; grandchildren, David Wilson of Halifax, NS and Andrea Wilson (Craig Deleavey) of Salisbury, NB; brother, Eldon Fowler (Mavis) of Carlisle, NB; nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, Grace is predeceased by her brother, Harold Fowler.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Burtts Corner Christian Church, Route 104, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from the church on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2 pm with Pastor Dan Foreman officiating. Interment will be in the Burtts Corner Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Burtts Corner Christian Church, the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
