MILLER, DONNA - Surrounded by her family, Donna Stella Miller of Kingsway Care Center, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2014. Born 1939 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Dykeman) London. Donna was a professional singer and a long-time resident of Ottawa. She will be sadly missed by her sister Judith Kaine (David) of Bayswater; brother George London (Merle) of Hampton; sister Josephine Starkey (Carl) of Chipman; nephews Scott Kaine (Kim), Jonathan Starkey and Jeffrey Starkey and niece, Stacey London; great-nephew Jacob Kaine and great niece Lauren Kaine, who were very special to her, Bunny’s children Bernard Ray, Andrew Ray (Megan) and Gini Ray. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by the love of her life and long-time companion Bernard “Bunny” Ray of Ottawa, Ontario.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitations or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at Harding’s Point Cemetery on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 2 p.m., following with light refreshments at the Kaine home, 31 Sand Point Wharf Road, Bayswater. Remembrances in memory of Donna may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
